A forest performance about your inner landscape
Join us as we move from the rhythm of civilization into the deeper pulse of the forest.
Two performers guide us through the forest and into a poetic soundscape, while we listen, watch and react to the landscape.
A sensory encounter with the surroundings unfolds. Textures, whispers, roots, and resonances emerge around you, heightening your awareness of the living landscape.
The journey is both personal and collective—a movement from control towards surrender, from cultivated paths to wild, overgrown trails.
Drawing parallels between family trees and the root networks of forests, the work explores the invisible connections that nourish and shape us. Beneath the surface, trees reach towards one another through hidden roots. In much the same way, we are connected to each other and to those who came before us.
In the forest, the outer landscape becomes an inner one—a place where the unseen connections between nature, ancestry, and the self begin to reveal themselves.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Siri Haff Andersen and Sara Vilardo are two performance artists whose work brings together theatre, movement, and immersive experiences. Andersen is the artistic director of Sanseværk and a former core member of Cantabile 2. She has more than twenty years of experience creating poetic and sensory performances for audiences of all ages. Sara Vilardo is the artistic director of the company LAVA/Sara Vilardo and specializes in immersive, site-specific, and participatory projects, including the currently touring of the performance Sirene.
Together, they have created and performed Det der lever (That Which Lives, 2022) and Er vi os (Are We Us, 2024), works that explore presence, identity, and human connection through interactive, multisensory storytelling. Their collaborations transform theatre into a shared space where performers and audiences meet to create imaginative, sensory, and thought-provoking experiences. Their works tour both nationally and internationally, combining poetic vision, physical presence, and audience participation.
