Metropolis Copenhagen 2026 – a teaser

The summer programme for Metropolis Copenhagen (29 July–13 September) will be unveiled very soon.

You’ll have to wait until the end of June for dates, locations and full details – but we’re excited to already share the artists and performances with you.

Look forward to sound landscapes on Refshaleøen; performances high in the sky and deep underground; a musical set among the ruins of a community; contemporary circus framed by the landscape; landscapes translated into dance and song; encounters with the roots of ancestry and forests; a giant dance celebration created by one of the great icons of the dance world (you can take part – see how here); and a journey into the disenchanted world of the forests.
