WHAT Workshop

A Series of Greater and Smaller Explosions
Hello!earth invites you to a place for grand and fragile visions — a laboratory where new thoughts and ideas can come to life, and where we co-create the world instead of merely consuming it.
In Trainings for the Contemporary Alchemist, we explore what it means to be a modern alchemist, asking ourselves how we can play a healing and regenerative role within the planetary ecosystem.

In an alchemical tradition where spirit and matter are seen as equal components of every transformation, we embark on a fabulous exploration of chemistry, science, spirit, superstition, and contemporary rituals, investigating how we can reforge a deeper connection between spirit and matter.

Each presentation of the work manifests locally as a series of contemporary alchemist trainings, activating and uniting our spiritual and earthly existence through acts of care and repair.

NB: Dissolution and reshaping of the very essence of matter — our cells, inherited patterns, and political systems — may occur!

Trainings for the Contemporary Alchemist consists of fragments from a larger work, which in its full form includes multiple elements and a longer duration.
