”A Doll’s House” is one of the world’s most performed plays. Probably because Ibsen understands real people. He knows our psyche, our behaviour and our mind. Ibsen wanted the theatre to be just like real life. The actors should act like real people, and the stage should look like a real home. This is why “A Doll’s House” is now performed in a proper home with a quite ordinary couple playing themselves.
Together, three actors, an iPod, a married couple, their home and an audience of 30 create the most realistic ever version of Ibsen’s world famous marriage drama.
Fix & Foxy’s hallmark is their unconventional relationship with genres and actors. They are uninhibited when it comes to popular formats, blockbusters, soaps, old kitch, and they find their actors in the real world. Third world workers, hookers, asylum seekers, teenagers etc. The only thing you are guaranteed is playful theatre, poetry and social commitment, all of which goes well beyond your expectations.
