I want to walk with serendipity using some artivistic strategies as a way to navigate uncertainty and complexity.

What will happen during my walk? What is the atmosphere of the city? Who will I meet? What will I find? What are my observations?

I will use my artivistic guide, the HYDRA, to take me to random places.

Come and join my walk, interact with me in the streets, challenge me, chat with me, or just follow me online.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Annika is born in San Francisco, raised in Sweden and now living in Denmark. She has been working professionally in the field of performing arts for over 25 years and is the founder and artistic leader of the artist driven Kassandra Production.

She is a director, choreographer, actress, singer, performance artist, curator, mentor, ARTivist and producer.

Annika works internationally, and in her work she challenges conventional norms of identity, gender, positions, perception, values, preconceptions and conventions. Using theatre, dance and performance art, she strives to visualise these invisible mechanisms that play such critical roles in our lives and societies.

Annika’s work also explores the use of unconventional performance spaces and locations. In addition to traditional theatre venues, she has staged performances in private apartments, caravans, fairs, clubs, abandoned factories, in the media and on the Internet.
