TOMAS LAGERMAND LUNDME – Steder af barn og dom
Join a memory walk through a landscape of scenes that hold glimpses of our childhood – both the good and the painful.
The grass. The soil beneath your hand. The sound of the sea. The wind in the treetops. Your gaze toward the sky. Small sensory impressions can open cracks in time – leading to memories of how a place once was, and how it felt to be there.
A story begins. About being a child again. So as not to forget the child you once were – reaching out, trying to hold on to moments and images, but whom we push away and quickly forget. Because it is easier to move forward than to look back.
But we must turn together and look back at what we could have changed. The moments when we could have spoken up. When we could have done something differently.
Through mask play, fictional scenes, short performances, whispered readings, silence, and guided sensory sessions, we encounter a series of childhood stories – our own as well as those of others. A walk in which the child we became meets who we are now.
Steder af barn og dom is a moving and poetic performance about what you became – and what you forgot to become.
