SIRI HAFF ANDERSEN & SARA VILARDO – Rewilding Roots
A forest performance of your inner landscape
Join the first unfolding of this work in development, moving together through Refshaleøen – from the beat of civilization into the deeper pulse of the forest.
Guided by a poetic soundscape and subtle interactions, a sensuous encounter with the surroundings evolves. Textures, whispers, roots and resonance unfold around you, heightening your awareness of the living landscape.
The journey is both personal and collective – a movement from control toward surrender, from carefully tamed pathways to rewilded ones.
Drawing parallels between family trees and forest root systems, the work explores the invisible networks that nourish and shape us. Beneath the surface, trees reach toward one another through hidden roots. In the same way, we are connected to each other and to those who came before us.
In the forest, the outer landscape becomes an inner one – a place where the invisible connections between nature, ancestry and self begin to surface.
NB! The performance is under development. Here, you will experience extracts of Rewilding Roots, and the full version will be performed at Metropolis in September 2026.
