HELLO!EARTH – tiny gaps and grand openings
A sensory workshop on rediscovering the connection between spirit and matter
Inspired by an alchemical tradition, we explore the hidden connections and inherent interconnectedness of the universe. We investigate tiny gaps and grand openings between matter and spirit, and practice seeing life where we have learned to see nothing.
We will work with frequencies, rituals, and transformations, examining what a contemporary alchemist might be.
hello!earth creates a playful space shaped by care, repair, and presence – a place where art, science, and speculation merge, opening up for new, imaginative ways of understanding the world.
The workshop is part of hello!earth’s current four-year project, “Recipes and Cooking Classes for the Contemporary Alchemist – Healing Combinations of Mind and Matter”, which unfolds through works in various formats.
OM HELLO!EARTH
hello!earth consists of Jacob Langaa-Sennek, scenographer and visual artist, and Vera Maeder, choreographer and performance artist. In hello!earth’s work, the audience is placed at the centre as co-creators of the artistic work. Audiences experience, sense, and act within performances that explore our consciousness and the myth of reality.
Over several years, hello!earth has developed carefully staged processes that cultivate heightened attention and awareness, in a search for new spiritual and sensory communities.
With input from philosophers and experts, hello!earth creates an artistic laboratory with space for both ambitious and fragile visions. Here, new thoughts and ideas can become reality – a place where the world is created rather than consumed.
