WHAT Expedition
The visible and invisible essences of a place
Art and performance can make landscapes speak. stedSANS explores what emerges when a place is met with tenderness and care. An inquiry into our relationship with the nature around us. An exploration that listens to all voices. A playful journey in a green area with a focus on the senses and movement.
As a participant, you will become part of a group, and together we will be guided to listen to a place through the body. Through sensory experiences, we gather the place’s visible and invisible essences. You will touch, lean, play, let your body be shaped by the lines of the place, and follow a leaf in the wind – all to get to know the place better and become part of an expanded community.
To conclude, we create an ad hoc performative walk, where we wordlessly pass on to each other what the place has shown and told us.
