High-flying circus<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The mysterious wind creatures sway over the landscape on six-meter-high poles. At first, the movements are almost imperceptible, then they grow stronger and stronger. The wind speaks to them, and they respond. Who are they? Fauns, Amazons, humans?<\/p>\n

RoZ\u00e9O is a dreamy interpretation of the landscape \u2013 a dialogue between atmospheric live music, unpredictable wind and a mythology that connects us to eternity with its strange creatures.<\/p>\n

With its hypnotic oscillations, the living installation pulls us out of our usual rhythm. The wind blows across time and space \u2013 across all man-made borders \u2013 and the work draws threads to a larger world outside our here-and-now.<\/p>\n

RoZ\u00e9O is a desire to return to the landscape and change our relationship with it. The choreography speaks to the landscape and is carried forward by the wind, while the fabulating music emphasizes the rhythm. Poetic, light and absolutely fascinating.<\/p>\n

ABOUT THE ARTISTS<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

The southern French circus company Gratte Ciel is known for their iconic work, Place des Anges, which has been performed all over the world since 2007. The company is currently led by St\u00e9phane Girard and Camille Beaumier, who, together with 70 artists, seek to create magical moments through both large-scale works, site-specific experiments and social networks.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Gratte Ciel translates to skyscraper and bears witness to the company’s obsession with the sky. They are driven by a perpetual quest to create new perspectives on both city and landscape through vivid, organic and surprising experiences. Their importance to the circus and art worlds has long been cemented, and they tour the world with their repertoire of monumental installations created with admirable responsiveness to place, time and situation.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Last summer, Gratte Ciel performed at the opening of the Olympics in Paris, this summer they opened the legendary Glastonbury Festival, and now they are finally in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n
