The walk takes the spectator to places in Copenhagen that will cross-activate the artist’s sensory apparatus. As a “sign of life”, the artist notes her translations in the form of symbols drawn with chalk on roads and walls.<\/p>\n

A long time ago, a genetic mutation led to a short circuit between the brain centres, giving You<\/strong> the ability to think creatively and to invent and innovate. The short circuit occurred physically by extraordinary nerve pathways growing from one brain centre to another. But there was also a chemical short circuit. The nerves communicated to a great extent using chemical signaling substances that passed messages from one nerve to another, but if the amount of these substances became too large, they could affect the nearby nerves, which might belong to a completely different brain centre. As a result, You<\/strong> combined information and experiences in completely new ways.<\/em><\/p>\n

But in our time,\u00a0You<\/strong> are just a by-product of a very important mutation.<\/em><\/p>\n
