Since then he has published <em>Sm\u00e5 Historier 2<\/em> (2000), the short novels <em>Brummstein<\/em> (2003) and <em>Machine<\/em> (2006), the form experiments <em>En million historier<\/em> (2007) and <em>Katalognien<\/em>. <em>En versroman<\/em> (2009, written with Ejler Nyhavn). In 2013, the post-apocalyptic short novel <em>\u00c5r 9 efter Loopet<\/em> was released. In 2017, the epidemic novel <em>Rynkekneppesygen<\/em> and most recently <em>Small Stories 3<\/em> (2020) were published.<\/p>\n<p>In his prose, Adolphsen tries to convey a concise and saturated impression without too many extraneous circumstances. The inspiration from Per H\u00f8jholt, Peter Seeberg, Franz Kafka and Jorge Luis Borges is clear.
